Purple Silk Satin and Iridescent Gold Lace Evening Gown, with Silk Satin Floral Sleeves, and Beaded Embellishments.
All creations were originally created for the owner by Margi Kent, c. 1992 - 2005, in Los Angeles.
A stunning lavender evening gown crafted from luxurious purple silk satin, layered with iridescent gold lace for a beautiful color-shift effect that gives the gown a shimmering lavender appearance. Elegant floral silk-satin sleeves fall gracefully to the elbow and feature exquisite hand-sewn beadwork, from the neckline and swirling floral designs on the sleeves to delicate beaded details cascading from the sleeve edges. The back of the gown gathers into an elegant mini-train, accented with an inner tier of hand-sewn beaded embellishments for a dramatic finishing touch. This complete evening ensemble includes a matching heavy silk-satin floral cape with a striking gold satin stand-up collar, plus a sheer mauve chiffon scarf/wrap—perfect for a sophisticated, one-of-a-kind formal look. All elements of this outfit were designed and crafted by famous fashion and costume designer Margi Kent.
